Union City Artist Awards 2014

On Friday, June 20, 2014 the City of Union City hosted The Third Annual Union City Artist Awards.  This has become the most anticipated and most important art event held in the City... and the most elegant.  Each year, the event brings together a who's who from the arts community.  If you're an artist, this is the place to be seen. Held at the beautiful William V. Musto Cultural Center, the standing-room-only event began with a Red Carpet, followed by live music, refreshments, and the awards ceremony.

This year the elegant red carpet event featured live music by Mas Alla; a special performance by West Hudson Opera Company; as well as a photo exhibit by renowned Forbes Magazine photographer, Glen Davis

Union City Artist Awards 2013


The Second Annual Union City Artist Awards were held to a standing-room-only crowd on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 7:00 PM at the William V. Musto Cultural Center, 420 - 15th Street in Union City, New Jersey.  For the second year, the awards honored the most talented and dedicated artists from all disciplines who have contributed to Union City's artistic fabric. The elegant red carpet event featured live music by Havana Rumba Capitan and Rima Roja en Venus; as well as an art exhibit by Abby Levine

Elegance and talent galore adorned the Union City Museum of Art.  The atmosphere was electric and everyone left looking forward to next year's.

Union City Artist Awards 2012


The first ever Union City Artist Awards were held on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the William V. Musto Cultural Center, 420 - 15th Street in Union City, New Jersey.  The awards honored the most talented and dedicated artists from all disciplines who have contributed to Union City's artistic fabric. A special recognition was also given to legendary Latin percussionist Candido Camero, as well as City Proclamations to two renowned radio personalities

The elegant red carpet event featured live music by the group (U)nity, as well as guest performances by Alisa Peterson, soprano; Guadalupe Peraza, Mezzo-Soprano; John Jay Hebert, Lyric Tenor; and Craig Ketter on piano. In addition, the event showcased a wonderful art exhibit by Frank Guiller and Juan-Si Gonzalez.
